Impossibly Easy Italian Sausage Pie

Easy Sausage Pie topped with warm pasta sauce for a pizza-like experience.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 lb bulk Italian pork sausage
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed, well drained
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and generously coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In a 10-inch skillet, sauté sausage over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked; drain any excess fat. Transfer cooked sausage to the prepared pie plate and top with vegetables.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients until well mixed. Transfer the mixture into the pie plate.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the top is beautifully golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
