Try this unbelievably easy and delicious budget-friendly meal for a delightful surprise!
Ingredients:
  • 12 oz bulk maple sausage or raw maple sausage links, casings removed
  • 3 green onions, green and white parts separated, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  • Cook the sausage and green onion whites in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat for 7 to 8 minutes until the sausage is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Drain the mixture and spread it in a pie plate.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, eggs, and salt in a medium bowl until smooth, then gently fold in the cheese. Transfer mixture to a pie plate.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes, then drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with green onion greens.
