No-roll berry pie with buttery streusel topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter or margarine
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen mixed berries (about 2 1/2 cups)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F and generously spray a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup Bisquick mix, brown sugar, and nuts. Cut in 2 tablespoons of cold butter using a pastry blender or two knives until the mixture is crumbly. Set aside.
  • Combine frozen berries with a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl, then spread the mixture evenly in a pie plate.
  • Combine the rest of the pie ingredients in a separate bowl, using a wire whisk or fork, until well mixed. Transfer the mixture to the pie plate and top with streusel.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the top is a perfectly deep golden brown.
