Impossibly Easy Spicy Pork and Chicken Pie

Indulge in a flavorful dinner bake featuring chicken, sausage, spinach, and cheese mixed with Bisquick® for a delicious meal in one dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1 cup chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 box (9 oz) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, squeezed to drain
  • 4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ or Bisquick Heart Smart® mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and generously grease a 9-inch glass pie plate. In a 10-inch skillet, sauté the sausage over medium-high heat until cooked through; then drain any excess fat. Layer the cooked sausage, chicken, spinach, onions, and half a cup of cheese in the prepared pie plate.
  • In a medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients until well combined, then transfer the mixture to a pie plate.
  • Bake the dish for 30 to 35 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and bake for an additional 2 minutes until the cheese is melted. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
