Effortlessly make a delicious taco pie with minimal ingredients in just 15 minutes. Transform ground beef into a flavorful dish that can be customized with your preferred taco toppings like cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and sour cream. The possibilities are endless with this crowd-pleasing recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1 can (4 oz) Old El Paso™ Chopped Green Chiles, drained
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese (3 ounces)
  • Salsa
  • Sour cream, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a 9-inch pie plate. In a 10-inch skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned; drain any excess grease. Stir in the dry seasoning mix and transfer the mixture into the pie plate. Top with chilies before baking.
  • Blend milk, eggs, and Bisquick mix until smooth, then pour into a pie plate.
  • Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, then sprinkle with cheese and bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes. Allow it to cool for 5 minutes before serving with salsa and sour cream.
