"Bacon-wrapped stuffed chicken: a show-stopping, delicious meal to impress yourself."
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound sliced bacon
  • 1 (8 ounce) package dry bread stuffing mix
  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded to 1/2 inch thickness
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • garlic powder to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Cook bacon in the microwave or large skillet until halfway done. Set aside.
  • Follow the instructions on the stuffing mix package to prepare the stuffing. Do not bake it. Lay the bacon on a clean surface in sets of three slices: two slices horizontally and one slice vertically.
  • Place a piece of chicken on a work surface. Shape stuffing into 6 logs and place one in the center of each chicken piece. Wrap chicken around stuffing and bacon. Secure with string or toothpicks. Season with pepper and garlic powder before transferring to a roasting pan and loosely covering with foil.
  • After baking for 30 minutes in the preheated oven, remove the foil and continue cooking until the bacon is crisp and the chicken is no longer pink, about 10 more minutes. Enjoy as is or with gravy.
