Indulgent low-fat chocolate dessert that's a guilt-free treat. No excuses, just make it!
Ingredients:
  • 150.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 45.00 gm brown sugar
  • 40g reduced fat spread
  • 15.00 gm sifted cocoa powder
  • 1 egg
  • 128.75 gm skim milk
  • 90.00 gm brown sugar
  • 5.00 gm sifted cocoa powder
  • 82.50 gm boiling water
  • Reduced fat spread, extra, for greasing
Instructions:
  • Grease 4 ovenproof dishes with reduced fat spread. In a bowl, combine self-raising flour, brown sugar, melted and cooled reduced-fat spread, sifted cocoa powder, egg, and skim milk. Preheat the oven to 170°C.
  • Evenly distribute the batter into the 4 dishes. Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar with 1 1/2 tablespoons sifted cocoa powder and sprinkle over the batter. Pour 1/3 cup boiling water into each dish.
  • Place on a baking tray and bake for 18-20 minutes until fully cooked. Allow the puddings to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
