Irresistible Yorkshire puddings elevate any Sunday roast.
Ingredients:
  • 115g (3/4 cup) plain flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 250ml (1 cup) milk
  • 27.60 gm vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to a piping hot 240°C.
  • In a medium bowl, sift together the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the egg along with 1 tablespoon of milk. Use a fork to blend the ingredients. Gradually incorporate the rest of the milk until a smooth batter forms. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • Drizzle 1 teaspoon of oil into each base of 6 (80ml/ 1/3-cup) muffin pans, then heat in the oven until the oil starts to smoke. Swiftly pour 1/4-cup portions of batter into each pan, bake for 20 minutes until puddings are fluffy and golden brown. Enjoy with roast meat, vegetables, and gravy.
