Make easy Instant Pot® spaghetti and meatballs for a tasty one-pot pasta feast in no time!
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb extra-lean (at least 90%) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Progresso™ Italian style panko crispy bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 jar (24.5 oz) Muir Glen™ organic tomato basil pasta sauce
  • 2 1/2 cups Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 12 oz uncooked spaghetti, broken in half
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese, as desired
  • Shredded fresh basil leaves, as desired
Instructions:
  • Combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Form the mixture into 12 (2-inch) meatballs.
  • Select the SAUTE function on a 6-quart Instant Pot® and adjust to normal heat. Heat oil in the insert and add the meatballs. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes without moving until they release easily from the bottom. Flip and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until browned on the second side. Flip one more time and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes on the third side until browned. Press CANCEL and transfer the meatballs to a plate using tongs.
  • Combine the pasta sauce and broth with the meatball drippings in the insert. Scrape the bottom to release any browned bits. Add in the spaghetti and toss until well coated in the sauce.
  • Evenly distribute meatballs over the spaghetti mixture. Secure the lid and set the pressure valve to SEALING. Cook on high pressure for 8 minutes using the MANUAL setting. Once done, turn off the pressure cooker and carefully release the pressure by setting the pressure valve to VENTING.
  • Stir the mixture gently for 30 to 60 seconds until the spaghetti is fully separated. Even if it looks stuck together, it will loosen while stirring. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes, then garnish with Parmesan and basil.
