Never buy store-bought dip again. Perfect with chips or veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, halved and sliced into petals
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your multi-functional pressure cooker (like Instant Pot) by selecting the Saute function. Add butter, onion, and salt, and cook until onions are soft and caramelized, around 8 minutes. Close and lock the lid, then choose Manual and set the timer for 5 minutes. Let the pressure build for 5 minutes.
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions to naturally release the pressure for 10 to 40 minutes.
  • Choose the Saute function once more and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid has evaporated. Turn off the pressure cooker and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, and garlic powder until well combined. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the onions from the pressure cooker to the bowl and stir everything together. Cover the dip with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
