Instant Pot pork gyro meat served in pita with hummus, red onion, tomato, tzatziki sauce, and feta cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 4 pounds pork butt, cut into 2-inch cubes
  • 3 tablespoons Greek seasoning (such as Cavender's®)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat a multi-functional pressure cooker like an Instant Pot using the Saute function. Add cubed pork and sauté until lightly browned, approximately 5 minutes. Power off the cooker.
  • Season the pork with Greek seasoning, paprika, and garlic. Pour in the chicken broth. Lock the lid and select Manual for 35 minutes. Let the pressure build for 10 minutes.
  • Carefully release pressure using the quick-release method following the manufacturer's instructions for about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the pork in hot oil using a slotted spoon until most of the liquid evaporates, creating a delicious crispy finish, about 5 minutes.
