Quick and creamy Instant Pot oatmeal made with thick-cut rolled oats, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon for a delicious breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups rolled oats (such as Bob's Red Mill®)
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons milk, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a multi-functional pressure cooker, mix oatmeal, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Add water, stir well, then lock the lid. Cook on high pressure for 8 minutes following the manufacturer's guidelines. Allow pressure to build for 10-15 minutes.
  • Following the manufacturer's instructions, allow pressure to release naturally for 8 minutes. Then, carefully release any remaining pressure using the quick-release method for about 5 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
  • Allow it to rest until it reaches the perfect texture, approximately 5 minutes. Stir gently and enjoy with a drizzle of milk.
