Instant Pot cheesy onion dip: Creamy, rich, and delicious. Perfect as a burger topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 large onion, grated in food processor
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 6 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 4 dashes hot pepper sauce
Instructions:
  • In your Instant Pot, place a trivet and add water.
  • Mix grated onion, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Swiss cheese, steak sauce, and hot pepper sauce in a bowl, then transfer to a 1.5-quart round casserole dish. Cover with foil tightly before placing in a pressure cooker on the trivet. Lock the lid to cook.
  • Start the pressure cooker by pressing the Manual function button and set the timer for 15 minutes. Let the pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions for natural pressure release for about 5 minutes. Then manually release any remaining pressure for another 5 minutes. Take off the lid, gently pull out the casserole dish, and remove the aluminum foil.
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches away from the heat source and preheat the broiler on high.
  • Slide the casserole dish under the preheated broiler and broil the dip until it turns golden brown and starts bubbling, approximately 5 minutes.
