Tropical ribs marinated in a sweet and tangy blend of honey, coconut milk, chiles, and garlic for a tropical twist on classic barbecue flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 3 pounds pork spareribs, cut into serving size pieces
  • 0.66666668653488 cup honey
  • 0.5 cup coconut milk
  • 0.33333334326744 cup lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 fresh red chile pepper, finely chopped
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan, submerge the ribs in cold water and bring to a boil over high heat. Simmer over medium heat for 40 minutes. Drain and let cool to room temperature.
  • Combine honey, coconut milk, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, ginger, chile pepper, green onions, and salt in a large bowl. Add ribs to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking environment.
  • Place the ribs in a shallow baking dish and bake in a preheated oven until tender, for about 30 to 35 minutes.
