Elevate beef kabobs with balsamic vinegar and oregano for a burst of delicious flavor!
Ingredients:
  • 1 beef bone-in sirloin or round steak, 3/4 pound, 1 inch thick
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano leaves or 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh marjoram leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions:
  • Trim excess fat from the beef and cut it into 1-inch pieces.
  • Combine the rest of the ingredients in a medium glass or plastic bowl. Add beef and mix until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally, but no more than 12 hours.
  • Preheat oven to broil. Take the beef out of the marinade and keep the marinade aside. Skewer the beef onto four 10-inch metal skewers, leaving a 1/2-inch space between each piece. Brush the kabobs with the reserved marinade.
  • Arrange kabobs on the broiler pan rack with the tops about 3 inches away from the heat source. Cook under the broiler for 6 to 8 minutes until they reach medium-rare to medium doneness. Remember to flip and brush them with marinade after 3 minutes. Dispose of any leftover marinade.
