Savory Italian sausage gravy with Alfredo sauce and sage over fluffy biscuits for a tasty meal anytime.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package ground Italian sausage
  • 0.5 cup onion, diced
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Classico Fresh Four Cheese Alfredo Sauce
  • 3 fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 0.125 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 (10 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough, baked according to package instructions
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage according to package instructions until no longer pink. Add diced onion and cook until softened and transparent. Drain excess fat.
  • Combine Alfredo sauce, fragrant sage, and a hint of freshly ground black pepper in the pot. Allow the mixture to gently simmer, stirring occasionally, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Top freshly baked biscuits with the delicious mixture and garnish with freshly sliced green onions.
