Italian-style turkey meatloaf with bread crumbs, Parmesan, seasoning, tomato sauce, and gooey mozzarella.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 0.5 cup Italian-style seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously coat a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine the turkey, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic, pepper, and salt in a bowl until fully mixed. Shape the mixture into a loaf and transfer it to the baking dish.
  • After preheating the oven, bake the meatloaf for 45 minutes until golden brown, then lavish it with tomato sauce and bake for an additional 5 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and bake until cheese melts and meatloaf reaches at least 160°F (71°C), about 5 minutes.
