Spicy jalapeño popcorn with ranch seasoning and crispy jalapeños for a addictive kick.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil, divided
  • 6 slices pickled jalapeno peppers, drained, or more to taste
  • 0.33333334326744 cup popcorn kernels
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
Instructions:
  • In a small skillet over medium-high heat, sizzle 2 tablespoons of oil. Add sliced jalapeños and sauté until golden and crunchy, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet using a slotted spoon and place on a small plate.
  • In a large saucepan, warm 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Drop 4 popcorn kernels into the oil and cover until they pop; then add the rest of the kernels in an even layer. Cover, briefly remove from heat for about 30 seconds, then return to heat. Shake the pan gently over the burner until popping slows to every few seconds, about 1 to 2 minutes. Once done, remove from heat and transfer the popcorn to a large bowl.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the popcorn, ensuring it's evenly coated. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix lightly over the popcorn and mix well. Crumble the jalapeño slices into the mix and combine thoroughly.
