Master the art of tender, mouthwatering ribs with this simple grill recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 3 to 4 lb pork spareribs, cut into serving-size pieces
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat the grill while arranging the ribs in a 11x7-inch (2-quart) microwavable dish, slightly overlapping if needed. Pour water over the ribs and cover with microwavable plastic wrap. Microwave on High for 5 minutes.
  • Rearrange the ribs and rotate the dish halfway through. Cover and microwave on Medium (50%) for 15 to 20 minutes. Remember to rearrange and turn the ribs twice during cooking until they are no longer pink next to the bones. Drain before serving.
  • Once the grill is nice and hot, carefully lay the ribs on a gas grill set at medium heat or on a charcoal grill over medium coals. Cover the grill and let them cook for 15 to 22 minutes. Remember to flip them once and generously brush with barbecue sauce multiple times during the last 5 minutes of grilling until the ribs are perfectly tender.
  • Heat the remaining barbecue sauce in a 1-quart saucepan until it reaches a rolling boil, then let it boil for 1 minute. Serve the sauce with the ribs.
