Try these tasty Jingle Jammin' Bars with Gold Medal® flour for a delightful dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup ground walnuts
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2/3 cup favorite preserves or jam
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease the bottom and sides of an 8- or 9-inch square pan with shortening. Combine all ingredients except preserves in a large bowl until crumbly. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the pan. Spread the preserves on top. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbly mixture and press lightly.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until light golden brown, then cool completely for about 1 hour. Cut into 6 rows by 6 rows to make bars.
