"Quick and easy jumbo cashew oat cookies made with Bisquick®, ready in 50 minutes."
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup chopped cashews
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat together brown sugar, shortening, and eggs until well combined, or mix with a spoon. Gradually fold in remaining ingredients until fully incorporated.
  • Place 1/4 cupfuls of dough on 2 ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them 3 inches apart. Flatten to 1/2-inch thickness using the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar.
  • Bake until edges are golden brown, for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 3 minutes, then transfer from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
