Indulgent jumbo chocolate cupcakes perfect for dessert or gifting, customizable with your preferred frosting.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a 6-cup jumbo muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter until smooth. Add sugar and beat for 1 minute. Mix in eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Stir in dry ingredients, then add milk and mix until smooth.
  • Using a spoon or an ice cream scoop, generously fill the muffin cups 3/4 of the way full with the delightful batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the centers comes out clean, approximately 35 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely, around 25 minutes more.
