Kahlúa Brownies

Decadent Kahlúa-infused chocolate brownies for an indulgent treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 ½ pounds of 60% cacao chocolate
  • 1 cup of butter, cut into pieces and at room temperature
  • 6 eggs, room temperature
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon of Kahlúa
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 9x13 baking dish by greasing it lightly. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Melt the chocolate and butter together using a double boiler or a bowl over simmering water.
  • Use an electric mixer to blend eggs, sugar, and salt until creamy. Stir in the chocolate mixture, vanilla extract, and Kahlúa until mixture is smooth.
  • Gradually sprinkle in the flour.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, then cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes.
