Ultimate brownie perfection: decadent, fudgy chocolate bliss in every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 170g (3/4 cup) white sugar
  • 8.80 gm vanilla extract
  • 75g (1/2 cup) plain flour
  • 30g (1/4 cup) cocoa Powder
  • 65g (1/4 cup) sour cream
  • 125g dark chocolate, melted
  • Pinch of salt
  • 250g mascarpone
  • 75.00 gm icing sugar
  • 300ml thickened cream, whipped
  • 125.00 ml Kahlua or marsala
  • Cocoa, to dust
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan forced and generously grease a 20cm square pan, lining it with baking paper for easy removal.
  • Beat together the butter, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl with electric beaters until pale and creamy. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition. Gradually mix in the sifted flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, alternating with sour cream, until well combined. Fold in the chocolate and salt. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs clinging. Allow to cool completely in the pan.
  • Once the brownie has cooled, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth. Gently incorporate the whipped cream into the mixture.
  • Cut the brownie into pieces and distribute half of them among 6 glasses. Drizzle 1/2 cup of Kahlua or Marsala over the brownie. Layer with half of the cream mixture, then top with the remaining brownie, liqueur, and cream mixture. Finish by dusting with cocoa powder.
