Boozy bourbon balls: Kentucky bourbon-infused nuts mixed with butter, sugar, and dipped in chocolate.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 5 tablespoons Kentucky bourbon
  • 1 (16 ounce) package confectioners' sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • waxed paper
  • 18 ounces semisweet chocolate
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your fresh and flavorful ingredients.
  • Place the nuts in a jar, pour the bourbon over them, seal, and let them soak for 8 hours to overnight for maximum flavor infusion.
  • Combine sugar and butter in a medium bowl; gently incorporate soaked nuts and bourbon. Shape mixture into 3/4-inch balls and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Prepare a baking tray by lining it with waxed paper; set it aside for later use.
  • Gently melt chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring often and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to prevent burning.
  • Dip balls in luscious melted chocolate, then place on the tray. Chill in the fridge until ready to enjoy.
