KFC potato and gravy soup recipe

Transform KFC Potato & Gravy into a delicious soup by sautéing leeks and bacon, then combining with mashed potato, gravy, stock, and cream for a flavorful meal. Impressive mystery dish for entertaining!
Ingredients:
  • 50g butter, chopped
  • 2 leeks, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 200g packet diced bacon
  • 500ml (2 cups) Salt Reduced Chicken Style Liquid Stock
  • 2 tubs KFC Large Potato & Gravy
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) thickened cream, plus extra, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until it sizzles. Toss in the leek and bacon, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes until the bacon turns a delicious golden hue. Drizzle in the oil and mix well. Scoop out a quarter of the mixture and save it for later.
  • Pour the stock, potato & gravy into the pan, stirring continuously for 2 minutes until warmed. Finish by adding the cream and stirring until well mixed.
  • Sprinkle the remaining bacon mixture on top, then finish with a drizzle of additional cream before serving.
