Spicy ground pork with chile-garlic sauce, black pepper, and green beans.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper, divided
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2.5 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 0.25 cup chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chile-garlic sauce, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, warm up the fragrant sesame oil.
  • Mix pork, 1 teaspoon black pepper, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl. Fry in hot oil until golden brown, approximately 3 minutes. Introduce green beans.
  • Mix chicken stock, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chile-garlic sauce, vinegar, garlic, and sugar in a bowl. Pour over pork and green beans. Boil for 3 minutes, then simmer until beans are tender, about 5 minutes.
