Killer Cranberry Chutney

Simmer apples, pears, cranberries, and onions with orange juice, cider vinegar, sugar, and cinnamon for a deliciously unique cranberry sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon oil for frying
  • 0.5 red onions, minced
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag cranberries
  • 0.25 cup fresh orange juice
  • 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 apples - peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2 pears - peeled, cored, and chopped
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté onions in oil until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Mix in cranberries, orange juice, vinegar, sugar, and cinnamon; cook for another 3-5 minutes. Add apple and pear and simmer until cranberries are tender, approximately 10-15 minutes.
