Innovative kohlrabi bread machine recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups peeled and diced kohlrabi
  • 0.75 cup fat-free milk
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast (such as SAF-instant)
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of water to a vigorous boil. Cook the kohlrabi until fork-tender, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain well.
  • Add the drained kohlrabi to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Add milk, kohlrabi puree, oil, bread flour, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, salt, rosemary, and yeast into the bread machine pan, following the specified order.
  • Choose the medium crust setting on the Basic cycle and start the machine.
