Elevate your chicken thighs with a flavorful Korean-inspired marinade for a delicious barbecue dish that works well with any chicken cut.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 cup minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
Instructions:
  • Place the sugar, soy sauce, water, onion, garlic, pepper, and sesame oil in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Place the chicken in a spacious glass or ceramic bowl. Drizzle the marinade on top and mix well to ensure even coating. Seal the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill to a medium-high temperature and brush the grate lightly with oil.
  • Take the chicken out of the marinade and gently shake off any extra marinade. Dispose of the rest of the marinade.
  • Grill chicken until golden on the outside, fully cooked in the center, and juices run clear, approximately 4 to 8 minutes per side. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) when tested with a thermometer.
