Marinated overnight in a sweet Korean-inspired blend, flank steak is grilled to perfection – a timeless recipe passed down through generations.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 onion, roughly chopped
  • 2.5 cups low sodium soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup toasted sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons unseasoned meat tenderizer
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 pounds beef flank steak, trimmed of excess fat
Instructions:
  • Combine garlic, ginger, and onion in the blender with soy sauce, sesame oil, Worcestershire sauce, meat tenderizer, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the marinade to a resealable bag or glass bowl. Score the flank steak and add it to the marinade. Refrigerate overnight for optimal flavor.
  • Heat up the grill until it's nice and hot.
  • Grill steak on a preheated grill until it reaches your preferred level of doneness, approximately 7 minutes per side for medium.
