Korean marinated eggs: Spicy, salty, and slightly sweet. Perfect snack or Asian side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 3 medium green onions, chopped
  • 2 medium jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 12 large hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix soy sauce, water, sugar, green onions, jalapeno, garlic, and sesame seeds. Add eggs, cover, and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Take the eggs out of the fridge, cut them in half, and arrange them on a platter. Drizzle with marinade and sesame oil before serving.
