Asian-style lamb mince wrapped in crisp lettuce leaves.
Ingredients:
  • 36.40 gm peanut oil
  • 6 shallots, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 40.00 ml finely grated fresh ginger
  • 600g lamb mince
  • 80ml (1/3 cup) hoisin sauce
  • 20.00 gm boiling water
  • 1 x 250g pkt bean sprouts
  • 8 medium iceberg lettuce leaves, washed
  • 187.50 ml fresh mint leaves, torn
  • 187.50 ml fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 x 100g pkt Original Fried Noodles
Instructions:
  • Preheat a wok over high heat until smoking. Add oil and swirl to coat. Cook shallot, garlic, and ginger for 30 seconds. Add mince and stir with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes until it changes color, breaking up any lumps.
  • Mix the hoisin sauce and water in a small bowl then pour into the wok. Quickly stir-fry for 2 minutes. Take the wok off the heat and gently mix in the bean sprouts.
  • Distribute the lettuce leaves onto serving plates. Top with the lamb mixture, mint, and coriander. Finish by sprinkling with noodles before serving.
