Lamb & honey meatballs

Luscious lamb meatballs with aromatic thyme and sweet honey.
Ingredients:
  • 500g lamb mince
  • 250.00 ml dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp thyme leaves, chopped
  • 12.20 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Sea salt and pepper
Instructions:
  • Mix together onion, garlic, mince, breadcrumbs, egg, thyme, lemon rind (not juice), Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined. Shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls.
  • Preheat barbecue flat plate to medium heat. Cook meatballs for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Transfer to serving platter. While still warm, sprinkle with fresh lemon juice and drizzle with honey.
  • Pair with a refreshing salad.
