Cheesy layered vegetable appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 container (8 ounces) sharp Cheddar cold-pack cheese spread
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 1 container (8 ounces) soft cream cheese with garden vegetables
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 container (8 ounces) Swiss-almond cold-pack cheese spread
  • 1/4 cup chopped red and/or yellow bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 48 crackers
Instructions:
  • Spread a creamy blanket of Cheddar cheese in a 5-inch round, 1/2 inch thick, on a serving platter. Smooth the surface with a small metal spatula. Sprinkle the mushrooms over the cheese and gently press down.
  • Cover mushrooms with a layer of cream cheese, ensuring it is smooth on the top and sides. Sprinkle basil over the cream cheese and press gently to adhere.
  • Sprinkle Swiss-almond cheese on top and smooth. Add bell peppers on top and press parsley onto the side. Serve with crackers.
