Transform leftover pancakes into a delicious breakfast by layering ham, cheese, and a fried egg between them, then drizzle with syrup.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice ham
  • 2 leftover buttermilk pancakes
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions:
  • Preheat a frying pan over medium heat and give it a light spritz of cooking spray. Gently crack the egg into the pan and break the yolk. Cook the egg to your liking, while warming sliced ham in the same pan.
  • Toast the pancakes in the toaster.
  • Construct the sandwich by layering one toasted pancake on a plate. Add cooked egg, half of the maple syrup, Cheddar cheese, warmed ham slice, and the remaining pancake. Finish by drizzling the rest of the maple syrup on top.
