Delightful lemon pound cake cookies topped with zesty lemon glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.66666668653488 cup salted sweet cream butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons lemon extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfectly cooked dish.
  • Using an electric mixer, blend sugar and butter until light and fluffy in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk flour and baking powder, then gradually mix it into the creamed butter until just combined. Beat in eggs one at a time until thoroughly mixed, then stir in lemon extract. Drop small scoops of dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake until cookies spring back when touched, about 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven.
