Lemon Stuffed Chicken

Whole chicken stuffed with zesty lemon stuffing, soaked in lemon juice for maximum citrus flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) whole chicken
  • 2 cups stuffing mix
  • 2 lemons
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried sage
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a perfectly warm 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Fill the bird with the stuffing and massage the skin with olive oil. Use one lemon half to cover the opening along with some stuffing. Squeeze the juice of the remaining lemon over the bird. Sprinkle with salt, paprika, rosemary, and sage for seasoning.
  • Bake uncovered in a preheated oven for 1 to 2 hours, basting frequently to achieve a golden brown finish.
