Indulge in a luscious lemon syllabub - a heavenly blend of whipped cream, zesty lemon, and white wine for a delightful mousse-like dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 0.25 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg (or to taste)
  • 6 thin slices lemon
  • 6 sprigs fresh mint
Instructions:
  • Using an electric mixer, whisk cream and sugar in a chilled glass or metal bowl until slightly thickened. Slowly add wine, lemon juice, and lemon zest while still beating until the mixture is light, fluffy, and smooth. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • To serve, scoop the mixture into six chilled parfait glasses and decorate each with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint.
