Elevate your salmon with a gourmet crusted coating for a restaurant-quality dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 salmon fillet, 1 1/4 pounds
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup fresh white bread crumbs, 1 slice
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a shallow baking pan with cooking spray. Dab salmon dry with paper towel. Lay salmon, skin side down, in the pan. Brush with 1 tablespoon of butter and season with salt.
  • Combine bread crumbs, cheese, onions, lemon peel, and thyme in a small bowl. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and mix well. Press the bread crumb mixture evenly onto the salmon.
  • Bake the salmon uncovered for 15 to 25 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork. Serve immediately.
