Crispy fried chicken breasts with a zesty lemon-pepper coating. Delicious and simple to make!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic powder
  • salt to taste
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • vegetable oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Combine bread crumbs, zesty lemon-pepper seasoning, fragrant basil, earthy oregano, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt in a shallow dish.
  • Dry off chicken pieces using paper towels, coat in beaten eggs, and then dredge in bread crumb mixture.
  • Heat a generous amount of oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry chicken until beautifully golden and fully cooked, for 8 to 10 minutes per side. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
