Air fried lemon pepper tilapia with crispy seasoned breading, perfect for a delightful dinner for two.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia fillets
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon-pepper seasoning
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions:
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Dry the tilapia fillets with a paper towel, then gently coat both sides of the fish with flour.
  • In a shallow bowl, vigorously whisk together an egg, fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. In another shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs and zesty lemon-pepper seasoning.
  • Coat the flour-coated fish in beaten egg, then coat it in bread crumb mixture, pressing gently to help the crumbs adhere. Spray both sides of the fish with cooking spray.
  • Add the fillets to the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes. Then, gently flip the fish using a spatula and continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
