Quick Air Fryer Tilapia

Quick and crispy tilapia fillet ready in just 7 minutes in the air fryer.
Ingredients:
  • olive oil cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 0.75 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pound tilapia fillets, thawed if frozen
  • 4 lemon slices
Instructions:
  • Preheat your air fryer to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and coat the basket with a spritz of olive oil or use a parchment liner to prevent sticking.
  • Combine flour, seafood seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and whisk until well blended.
  • Take the tilapia filets out of the package and gently dry them with a paper towel. Lightly spray the filets with olive oil, then season each side with flour seasoning. Place the filets in the air fryer basket without overlapping to ensure even cooking.
  • Cook the tilapia filets in the air fryer for 7 to 10 minutes until they easily flake with a fork. No flipping necessary. If needed, cook in batches based on air fryer size.
  • Garnish each filet with a fresh lemon slice and serve while hot.
