Quick and tasty green bean dish with lemon zest - ready in 10 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 4 cloves garlic, slivered
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • frozen whole green beans
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Instructions:
  • In a Dutch oven, melt the butter. Cook the garlic, salt, and pepper over medium heat for 1 minute. Add the green beans and cook for 5 to 6 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally. Finish by stirring in the lemon peel.
