Bubbly Limoncello Spritz with a hint of basil and lemon sparkling water.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 fluid ounce lemonade
  • 2 fluid ounces limoncello liqueur
  • 1 cup ice cubes, or as needed
  • 2 fluid ounces Prosecco (Italian sparkling white wine)
  • 1 splash lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
  • lemon slices or lemon twist for garnish
Instructions:
  • Combine zesty lemon, fragrant fresh basil, and tangy lemonade in a cocktail shaker and gently muddle.
  • Pour in the refreshing limoncello and ice, then seal and shake vigorously.
  • Pour the basil-limoncello mixture through a strainer into 2 champagne glasses. Fill each glass with Prosecco. Allow the bubbles to settle before adding a splash of lemon sparkling water. Decorate with a lemon slice or zest for a finishing touch.
