Italian lemon vodka aperitif with sweet sugar.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds lemons, zested
  • 35 fluid ounces vodka
  • 2 pounds white sugar
  • 35 fluid ounces water
Instructions:
  • Mix the lemon zest and vodka in a large 2-gallon jar, cover it, and allow it to infuse at room temperature for 3 to 4 days.
  • Remove the lemon zest, then mix in the sugar and water until the sugar dissolves. Transfer the mixture into bottles or containers, and freeze for storage.
