Easter Egg Chocolate Brownies: Rich, decadent brownies loaded with festive Easter eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 230g pkt Caramilk Easter Eggs
  • 150g (1 cup) plain flour
  • 315g (1 1/2 cup) caster sugar
  • 100g (1/2 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 80g (3/4 cup) cocoa powder
  • 180g unsalted butter, melted, cooled slightly
  • 3 eggs, lightly whisked
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • Cadbury Caramel Eggs, to decorate
  • Assorted chocolate eggs, to decorate
  • Chocolate rabbits, to decorate
Instructions:
  • Start by preheating the oven to 160C/140C fan forced. Then, prepare a 20cm square cake pan by greasing it and lining it with baking paper, making sure to leave some paper hanging over the edges. Finally, roughly chop 100g (approximately 14) Caramilk eggs.
  • Mix together the flour, caster sugar, brown sugar, cocoa, butter, egg, and vanilla in a large bowl until thoroughly combined. Gently fold in the chopped Caramilk eggs. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out with a few crumbs attached. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before removing and serving.
  • Melt the remaining 55g (about 7) Caramilk eggs in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water. Drizzle the melted Caramilk over the brownie and sprinkle with the remaining Caramilk eggs and assorted chocolates. Allow it to set, then cut into pieces before serving.
