Indulgent brownies made with Betty Crocker™ German Chocolate Cake Mix, filled with rich chocolate chips and coconut.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ German Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk (from 12-oz can)
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and generously grease a 9-inch square pan with shortening or cooking spray.
  • Combine cake mix, melted butter, egg, and milk in a large bowl until smooth. Gently fold in coconut, pecans, and chocolate chips. Spread the thick batter evenly in the pan.
  • Bake for 26 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool completely on a rack for about 2 hours before storing covered at room temperature.
