Impress guests with McCain Pub Style Fries at your next gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 750g Pub Style Fries
  • 500g No Added Hormones 4 Star Beef Mince
  • 375g mild Mexican salsa
  • 44.40 gm tomato paste
  • 400g can red kidney beans, rinsed, drained
  • 200g cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 avocado, stoned, peeled, sliced
  • Sour cream, to serve
  • Coriander sprigs, to serve
  • Spring onion curls, to serve
  • Lime halves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a piping hot 230°C. Line a large deep baking tray with baking paper, then spread out your fries in a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes or until they are perfectly crisp, flipping them over halfway through.
  • Heat a large deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the mince and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up lumps, until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low, then stir in salsa, tomato paste, and beans. Cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  • Layer the beef mixture on top of the fries, then add the tomato, avocado, sour cream, coriander, and spring onion. Season to taste and serve with lime halves.
