Low-fat crispy chicken wings

Ingredients:
  • 150.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 2.40 gm onion salt
  • 2.40 gm chicken salt
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 2kg chicken wings
  • olive oil spray
  • oven-baked fries, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper, then mix flour, onion salt, chicken salt, peppers, and mixed herbs in a large plastic bag.
  • Coat chicken wings with a light mist of oil. Toss one-third of wings in the flour mixture until fully coated. Arrange on baking trays. Repeat with the rest of the wings.
  • Reapply oil to chicken. Bake until golden and fully cooked, about 25 to 35 minutes. Enjoy with fries or salad.
